Garden Pest

When you garden you have to be prepared for the pests that can invade your crops. Pests like aphids, slugs, rabbits, and deer.  There are a myraid of books and websites offering advice on what to do to keep your garden free from invasion from these pesky pests. But there are none on how to keep your dog from eating your vegetables.

Gardening, a New Beginning

When we first bought our house, 17 1/2 years ago, we had a tiny garden: tomato plants, herbs, and grapes.

I've been wanting to get our garden doing again but other things seemed to get in the way.  Thankfully, the Earth Day Celebration on April 23 gave us the kick in the pants we needed.   The little one was given a tomato plant and a broccoli plant so Jeff picked up a cherry tomato plant, another tomato plant, and a pepper plant and our garden begun.
