Supplies used:
March 2011 Kit & Kit Options
1. Used on the pattern paper for my background 12 x 12 inches.
2. Cut the cardstock down to 11 x 11 inches and adhered tgar to the centre of the background paper.
3. Cut another co-ordinating pattern paper down to 10 x 10 inches and adhered that to the centre of the cardstock.
4. Fussy cut a border from the pattern paper with the scalloped edge and adhered it slightly to the left hand side of the page from top to bottom.
5. Added my 6x4 inch photo more or less in the middle on the right side of the strip border.
6. Added the journal strip card to the left side of the strip border.
7. Cut out the butterflies from the pattern paper and doubled them up to create a 3D effect.
8. Also cut out some of the flowers from the pattern paper and adhered some to the bottom right hand side of the page and some in the left top corner.
9. Then I cut the matching flowers and butterfly from the transparency overlays and doubled them over the butterfly and flowers. Stitched in the middle of the butterfly.
10. Added some brads to the stems of the flowers, so as to hold it down on the page.
11. Added some Stickles to the transparencies to finish it off.
12. Machine stitched around the edge on the background paper and the middle pattern paper.
13. Play around with the title of the journal card like I did for the title.
Voila your LO is done.
