What I Like by Audrey Yeager
- Cut out eight 2” square from various patterned papers.
- Using the yellow paper with the measuring lines, cut out three 2” squares with no pattern on them. Use different stamps and stamp a design on each of these squares. (mine are the first row, square 3, and the third row, squares 2 and 4)
- Measure out a 4x4 grid on your page, leaving about 1/4” in between each square for stitching. Machine stitch the lines.
- Cut a 2” square from scrap paper to use as a template to paint around. Use this template and paint a thin line in yellow paint for the squares in the first row, 2nd square, third row, first square, and fourth row, 3rd square. NOTE: you do not see the 3rd squares in rows 2 and 3, but it you want to paint a square there, too, you can.)
- Add your patterned paper to the remaining squares.
- Use an orange and gold mist to spray the flowers. Outline the embossed areas with an orange pen. Layer some flowers and secure with a brad.
- Mat your photo on a brown piece of cardstock and adhere to page at an angle. Add flowers and stickers for journaling.
