- Gather your supplies: Crop Addict October 2010 Monthly Kit, one 7¾” x 8½” photo, a spare sheet of cardstock of any color, clear Stickles, black chalk ink, a dragonfly punch, orange-brown alcohol ink, black embroidery floss, a black slick writer, circle cutters/punches and various adhesives.
- Adhere the green striped Bella Blvd paper to the spare sheet of cardstock to create your layout base.
- Mount your photo so it is exactly 7/16” from the right edge and 1-3/8” from the top edge of your layout. Adhere the 12” x 12” transparency to the layout. Your photo should fall right in line with the frame.
- Embellish all the flourishes on the transparency with clear Stickles.
- While the transparency is drying, create three lollipop flowers of various sizes using scraps of the Dream Street papers. Distress each layer by crumpling and inking. Use the black jumbo brads for your flower centers. (If detailed instructions are needed to create these flowers, click here.
- Color your title letters using alcohol ink. Apply your title to the upper left corner of your photo. Embellish some of the letters with the square bling.
- Add one lollipop flower flanked with a piece of the Kaiser Craft felt to the lower left of your title. Punch a dragonfly from another scrap of Dream Street paper and adhere to this flower. Stitch a flying trail onto your layout along the left side of your photo that leads from the dragonfly to the bottom of your layout. Use your slick writer to add the date along this stitched trail somewhere.
- Adhere the other two lollipop flowers at the lower right corner of your photo. Add a piece of Kaiser Craft felt and some ribbon to this flower cluster.
- Add a piece of Kaiser Craft felt to the lower left corner of your layout.
