Beach Bum

I decided to use the "other" meaning of the word "bum" for this summery LO using the August Kit!  :)

Here are the instructions to make this page:

1. Cut a circle from the light blue paper about 6” in diameter and scallop the edges by hand. Use a white pen to outline the inside edges of the scallops.
2. Use the text paper and cut a circle about 5-5 ½” in diameter and adhere to the large blue scallop circle. Glue this to the left side of the coral colored cardstock.
3. Add two, 2x3” photos on the scalloped circle. Doodle around the photos with a thin black pen.
4. Cut a 2” x 8” strip from the sand colored paper with dots. Also cut the large brown dot strip from the strips paper and cut it to a 9” length. From the card phrases paper, cut a length of the brown stripes from the “Sandy Smiles” card. Distress the edges of each strip. Glue the sand colored strip, then the large dot strip, and then the striped strip over the bottom edges of the photos.
5. For the embellishment in the top right, use a label shaped punch to punch out a piece from the stickers sheet. Cut a piece of white cardstock to fit inside the label, and use the “beach bum” phrase from the rub on sheets for the title.
6. Use the peach colored cardstock and cut four stars of various sizes, the largest being abour 2 ½”. Use the tutorial FOUND HERE to score and fold the stars to make them a bit 3D. Use some light creamy brown ink on the edges of the stars.
7. Use the green paper and cut out four “branches” from the paper. On the strips paper, cut out four pieces of the green vine.
8. On the strips paper, cut out the blue and peach colored flowers.
9. Cut the “Who” “What” “Where” “When” tabs from the strips paper and adhere over sand colored small dot paper.
10. Create the embellishment clusters as shown. Add a metal bottle cap to left hand cluster and metal tag to bottom right cluster.
