1. Gather your supplies: July 2010 Crop Addict Kit, July 2010 Crop Addict Kit Option, and 8” x 6” collage of photos (pre-print as a single block with small white margins between each photo), black ink, black slick writer, black journaling pen, white embroidery floss and adhesives.
2. Use the sheet of orange cardstock as your base.
3. Adhere the photo collage block flush against the right side of your layout and 1” from the top edge of your layout. Add a rub-on sentiment to one of the photos. Ink the edges of one die-cut and adhere it to a negative (a blank) portion of your photo collage using foam adhesive. (If your die-cut is tag-shaped, string a piece of sheer white ribbon through the tag hole.)
4. Trim two strips from the yellow Pink Paislee paper – one strip is 8” x ¾” and the second strip is 8” x ½”. Adhere the ¾” thick strip directly above your photo collage and the ½” thick strip directly below your photo collage.
5. Trim a 4” x 6” piece from the striped Pink Paislee paper and adhere it directly to the left of the photo collage so its flush against the left side of the layout and 1” from the top edge of your layout.
6. Cut five pieces of paper from the various Pink Paislee papers as follows: a 1¼” x 4½” piece of the orange & white decorative pattern, a 1” x 4½” piece of the striped, a 1¾” x 4½” piece of the light blue & white decorative pattern, a 1¼” x 4½” piece of the red, and a 2¾” x 4½” piece of the notebook pattern. Adhere these pieces side-by-side and flush against each other, directly below the yellow border below your photo collage. The bottom edge of these pieces of paper should be flush against the bottom of your layout as well and the far right piece will be flush against the right side of your layout. From right to left, the pieces should be in the following order: orange & white decorative pattern, striped, light blue & white decorative pattern, red and notebook.
7. Stitch a straight white line of embroidery floss along each yellow border. Add a length of green & white ribbon along the seam between the bottom yellow border and the blocks of other patterned paper.
8. Add an orange Pink Paislee flip note to the upper left corner of the large piece of striped patterned paper so the left side of the flip note overlaps the left edge of layout. Trim off the part of the flip note that hangs off the edge of your layout. Add two of the chipboard rings to the upper left of the flip note, placing the smaller ring in the center of the larger ring.
9. Add your journaling to the piece of notebook patterned paper using your black journaling pen.
10. Outline your chipboard title alphas with your black slick writer. Adhere your title to the upper part of your side-by-side blocks of patterned paper. Place your first letter within the red block.
11. Stamp several images on the blue paper, cut them out and use them to embellish your title.
12. Ink the edges of a family/home-themed die-cut and adhere it towards the bottom right of your layout.
13. Adhere the blue pleated Pink Paislee ribbon vertically along the left edge of your photo collage and the notebook-patterned paper.
