Post Hurricane Dean in 2007, Costa Maya has been redeveloped and now includes a dolphinarium, steps from the pier. This little guy (or girl, not sure which since I can't tell and he/she wasn't declaring) was showing off his/her basketball skills, hoping for a treat.
I counted 5 dolphins in the small enclosure owned by Dolphin Discovery, all waiting for their dolphin encounter or dolphin swim adventure, but they seemed happy. Definitely knew how to play the audience.
